Color Variations
Anymore, you can find sugar gliders in several different color variations. Ranging from Albinos to Platinums to a Standard Grey. All are equally beautiful, some just stand out more than others. Hopefully this page will open your eyes to all the different colors there actually are.

AlbinoA Glider with an all white coat and red eyes.

Black BeautyA classic grey glider with thicker and more pronounced black markings. The “chin strap” marking often completely meeting under the neck instead of stopping just behind the ears as with a standard grey.

ButtercreamA glider with more of a golden beige coat displaying cream and/or yellow highlights with brown to red markings.

CinnamonA glider with more of a reddish coat displaying red and/or brown markings.

Creme-inoThese gliders have red eyes like an albino, but the coat is not all white. Instead, it is creamy colored or off-white and has light, beige markings where a standard grey would have black markings.

Leucistic/BEW (Black Eyed White)A glider that is all white but does not have the albino’s red eye color and instead has normal dark brown to black eye color.

LionA glider with a honey colored coat or standard grey coat with deep reddish markings.

Mosaic VariationsMosaic variations are gliders that have any form of white on them, that is not normally present. They can have minimal markings such as white hands and feet, to almost pure white.

Platinum/Platinum ChampagnesPlatinums are a newer color that are not commonly produced. They have a light silver, almost powdered body, with faint markings. Platinum Champagnes are the same gene, but have a stunning mixture of platinum and champagne coloring.

Standard GreyThis glider is a medium to dark grey with black markings and back stripe, a white underbelly, and black dots, dashes, or bars on the fingers and/or toes, often near the tips or over the knuckles.

White Face/White Face BlondeWF & WFB gliders may have a whiter face than that of standard glider colors and the black ear bar will not be visible below the gliders ears. WF gliders can also be any of the gliders listed. Example: WF Black Beauty or WF Cinnamon.

White TipA glider with a white tip on its tail, which can be a large section or less than an inch wide. Some may even have just a few white hairs.
